The inspiration behind Malloc stemmed from a deep frustration with the pervasive lack of privacy in the digital age. Maria, with her expertise in AI and Software Engineering, was determined to create an AI algorithm capable of detecting unauthorized data recordings and transmissions on mobile devices. Collaborating with Artemis from the KIOS CoE at the University of Cyprus, and Liza, an expert in Cybersecurity and AI, they transformed this idea into a product and company, thus establishing Malloc.
